When you work for a design company, you don’t have to go very far to find people with oodles of visual style. In fact, when we thought about having some fresh new faces style beds using Annie’s Pine Cone Hill products, we only had to walk a few steps down the hall to round up some talent. Today we’re bringing you two all-new takes on summer bedding, thanks to our own staffers, Customer Service Rep Laiken and Product Designer Emily.
Let’s get straight to what makes these beds so special.
Laiken’s Bedding Look
What we love: Besides, well, everything, we think Laiken’s choice of tailored coordinates makes this bed a feminine yet nonfrilly delight. She played up the color, choosing multicolor printed sheets and shams, a matelassé coverlet and shams in a bright peacock blue, and a vintage-look stitched pillow and throw in the same vibrant fuchsia, but in two completely different textures. Then she topped it off with a linen duvet in white to keep the look light and airy.
Oh, and we also love that Laiken’s dress goes with her bedding picks. Couldn’t have planned it better ourselves.

Emily’s Bedding Look
What we love: Emily isn’t afraid of mixing patterns and colors, and several of our favorite summer hues—tangerine, citrus, and pink—play important supporting roles here. But let’s face it: this look is really about the prints, from the brushstroke-y floral on the duvet and shams to the paint-chip-style printed sheets, and the throw pillow embroidered with happy poppies. It’s a look we might find at a high-end Caribbean resort, and we can’t get enough of the tropical-escape vibe.
