Designers share the tried and true white paint colors they rely on to create love-forever rooms.

Benjamin Moore
Simply White
Simply White by Benjamin Moore is my all time favorite white that I have ever used. I painted every wall of my apartment with this bright white, and it felt like a totally different space. It bounces the light around the room so well and doesn’t have any cream or grey undertones which I love.

Chantilly Lace
I wanted this area to feel bright and light, so we used Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. We had a lot of beautiful natural textures such as the white oak floors, custom iron and oak paneling, custom wall panels and the globe light fixture. The white paint was the perfect accent to the space to set a background for the other pieces, most importantly the Annie Selke runner.”

Fog Mist
The cabinetry here is Benjamin Moore’s White Dove and the island cabinetry is Benjamin Moore’s Fog Mist. I love light and bright kitchens, but that doesn’t always translate to all white. To add a bit of interest, I love to softly inject neutral tones to give kitchens a classic feel while adding subtle dimension.

Benjamin Moore
Simply White
When we bought this house, I knew I wanted to paint the walls white and the trim in color. The house was built in 1815 and that was a popular look during that time period. For the white in the living room, we chose Benjamin Moore Simply White. It’s an oddly shaped room, in that it is long and rectangular, so I didn’t really know what to do with it at first but I wanted to use colors that would help the space to feel really clean and bright. The same white can look so different depending on the space you are using it in so I always do test spots on the walls first and then decide which shade looks best in my space. I love that this white lends a touch of warmth without feeling yellow.

Behr
Ultra Pure White
When we first moved into our condo all of the walls were dark and dingy and we wanted the whitest white that we could find – and we found it! It is Behr Ultra Pure White in an eggshell finish. We love this paint! We’ve used it on every wall in our house and the ceilings. It was a huge transformation for our space and it’s perfect because it’s not tinted at all and you can grab it right off of the shelf. It’s not warm, and it’s not cold, it’s perfect!

Farrow & Ball
Pointing
I used Pointing by Farrow & Ball in my living room, and often in my projects. I love that it is a warmer white with a slightly red undertone.

Sherwin Williams
Alabaster
White is clean and graphic—it gives a point of comparison and really helps you see a color’s true essence. I’ll use different whites in different settings: Maybe a true white-white in a more graphic room or if someone wants an English farmhouse feel I’ll go more creamy.

My bedroom at home is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Simply White. It’s definitely one of my go-to white paint colours that’s crisp and clean!
