Rugs Through the Years: Swedish Stripe

Swedish Stripe Rug by Annie Selke's Dash & Albert

Welcome to the third installment of our monthly series, “Rugs Through the Years!” Throughout this year-long series, we’ll highlight 12 of our best-selling rugs, and present a few ways each fan favorite has been styled since its debut. As the cherry on top, we’ll be giving away the featured rug to one lucky reader each month!

Last month, we highlighted our Stone Soup Rug and this month, we’re looking back on our Swedish Stripe Rug, offered in both woven cotton and indoor/outdoor styles. Let’s take a look at a few ways Swedish Stripe has been styled in years past…

Here, we used Swedish Stripe as the base in this dreamy, neutral bedroom vignette. Paired with our romantic Savannah Linen Gauze bedding, the light blue stripes add just the right amount of color to this cozy nook.

Anita, the author and designer behind the blog Cedar Hill Farmhouse, styled Swedish Stripe in her gorgeous dining room amongst character-rich antiques and French country décor. We love how the creamy ivory and soft blue hues warm up her wood floors.

Oh my…it is too difficult to choose. It looks perfect I’m every moment. I love the simplicity it has, while also very comforting, welcoming, and classic. This piece would be perfect in any room and would definitely make any room complete.

I am in love with the blue and white rug ottoman! I adore it! It’s so Crisp and clean and would look wonderful in any room in the house. The stripe would blend well with any flooring, but especially with a rug of the same or contrasting stripe.

The dining room and bathroom make my heart sing. Plus, that throw is to die for. Aren’t cotton throws just the best: the perfect weight and warmth for year-round use. Love, love, love the Swedish stripe!

The Swedish stripe in the farmhouse dining room just hits it out of the park for me! It reminds me of my small town Texas roots where family meals last for hours, friends gather for some dewberry cobbler and time seems to always slow down! So perfect!

After collecting Persian rugs for years I now find myself drawn to more simple classic neutral colors and design. Your Swedish Stripe rugs offer the perfect base to build a modern, light, refreshing decor to reinvent your style. They are beautiful, practical and timeless.

I have loved the cream and blue since I was a kid. Something so comforting and homey. I have looked for versions of this for years and was delighted when it was finally, after all the years of searching, available through this line.
