Welcome to the final installment of our monthly series, “Rugs Through the Years!” (Wow, a full year of these journeys down memory lane!) Throughout this year-long series, we’re highlighting our 12 best-selling rugs and showing a few ways each fan favorite has been styled since its debut. Last month, we highlighted our Blue Heron Striped Rug and this month, we’re looking back on our classic Lighthouse Indoor/Outdoor rug available in two beautiful shades of blue.

As the cherry on top, we’ll be giving away a Lighthouse rug (in either colorway) to one lucky reader – up to an 8×10 size! Let’s take a look back on some of the ways this beauty has been styled in years past…

Lazy Beach Day

Bright & Happy Sunroom

This sunroom space designed by our Australian friends, Winton House, looks like the ultimate all-season hangout. Our Lighthouse rug looks absolutely perfect styled with the neutral furniture and bright white walls.

Coastal Bedroom

This coastal-inspired bedroom is positively dreamy! Lighthouse couldn’t fit in more perfectly with the classic, preppy bedding and blue and white motif throughout.

Whimsical Nursery

We love how Lighthouse looks in this adorable nursery space. The pattern play among the window treatments, the rug, the artwork and the crib skirt is so fun!

My vote goes to the Bright and Happy Sunroom! The rug anchors the room with its classic great looks and sends an open invitation to “come on in, sit and relax!” The rug is like a piece of art for the floor. It’s so pretty to look at and while we get to see most of it from any angle, it doesn’t drown out furniture and accessories—they shine on their own. All together they create a comfy spot I’d love to visit on a sunny afternoon with a great book and cup of tea.

Love the look in the coastal bedroom! We just bought a home in Sullivans Island, SC and the bright and cheery coastal room reminds me of our new bedroom. Absolutely love Dash and Albert rugs. They look great in any room!!

Love all looks but I personally would use it in a cozy bedroom and I have the perfect one!

I like the Lighthouse rug in each of these spaces. That’s the thing about a good quality classic style rug; it can go almost anywhere, look great, and make a statement with a modern edge. The coastal colors are refreshing and bright and add just the right amount of visual interest to make the space pop.

I vote for Bright & Happy Sunroom. The rug adds personality and coherence to the room.

While I like them all, the bright and happy sunroom is easily my favorite! When I first saw this rug, I automatically thought of the beach, which of course reminds me of a bright and sunny day! This room does a great job of bringing it all together in a nice little sunny package. The lighthouse rug ties in perfectly to unite all the different aspects that make it feel bright and sunny! Blue and white make for a perfect combo and a great statement piece to plan a room around!

I love the rug in the Whimsical Nursery. The rug is practical, timeless and beautiful with pops of green. It anchors the room and allows the use of multiple complimentary patterns.

Bright and Haopy Sunroom is my favorite. It is vibrant but still has an overall calming effect. Love it!

I love the bedroom and the happy sunroom, would have a hard time deciding.

I love the “beneath my heart” blog post of the coastal bedroom. It’s such a serene beautiful room. The rug adds a coastal, graphic touch without competing with the other elements in the room. What I love most about the rug is how versatile it is, depending on the other parts of the environment. It can be whimsical, the part I like most, casual or formal. The colors are so crisp and clean.

I like it in the nursery!

I love all of these looks but my personal favourite would have to be the bright and happy sunroom! This rug is versatile, cottagey, and would look amazing in my cottage style living room 😉 I just recently discovered Dash & Albert and I was hooked right away!

Love, love, love the lighthouse rug!! It’s so hard to choose which room gets my vote, which I think helps to show why it’s so great in any rion or outdoor setting. My family has a summer cottage on Cape Cod and the yard is bookmarked by two very old, small, working lighthouses. How much fun would it be to incorporate the lighthouse rug in the sunroom overlooking the lighthouses! Navy and white is the quintessential look for Cape Cod summers; conjuring up memories of blue skies, white clouds, sandy beaches and endless days. Bring on summer!!

Love it in the Winton House! Beautifully refects the light and makes the room feel bigger!
