You just can’t get some gals off your mind.
That was how hundreds of customers felt when Annie retired Annette, an effervescent, color-drenched quilt, shams, and bed skirt, from the Pine Cone Hill catalog. In the intervening years, she’s fielded so many inquiries about Annette that this splashy pattern was first in line for revival as part of the Pine Cone Hill 20th Anniversary Collection.
Annette’s elaborate design of paisleys, flowers, and vines in undeniably Indian in inspiration, but her color palette is pure Annie—so much so that the turquoise, lime, and pink colorway, first introduced in 2003, became an immediate best-seller and a signature palette for Pine Cone Hill. For Annette’s 20th anniversary update, Annie switched the original quilt for a comfy-cozy duvet and gave the colors, especially the green and pink, some subtle, more sophisticated tweaks.
Then Annie went a step farther by creating Annette Spring, which is every bit as soothing as Annette is vibrant and perky. The classic ivory background of the Annette Spring duvet and shams is easy on the eyes, yet gives the deeper hues, like brick and sage, a unique dimensional quality. We love the way these coordinates look with lighter tones like sky, ocean, and sand, especially when popped with bright accessories.
Now it’s your turn: which version of Annette would you try at home?

I love this pattern in all three versions. It’s a great mix. If it were still available, I’d probably choose the original as I’m loving bright colors right now, but the slightly more subtle colors of the updated version are wonderful, too.
Love the Annette Spring combo but would love for it to be a quilt. Also, what is the light blue quilt in the picture called?
Hi, Janice! That quilt is Marina Sky, available here: http://pineconehill.com/product/view/marina-sky-quilt–Q259S
I would enjoy the Annette spring. I love the colors.
Beautiful. I’m partial to pinks!
Beautiful.
Lovely!
I love the Annette Spring. It would be perfect for my room!
I just love your colors!
Love the sage! Would buy in a second! It’s so calm and soothing for the soul! Perfect for the bedroom!
Love the fresh colors here.
The Annette Spring is just what I would put in my guest room. It’s really my mother’s room since she is with us quite often. So, it needs to be stepped up a notch in design. I am painting the walls BM dove white and the ceiling coral echo. The coral throw would be a great addition, also!
Love all your colors !!!!!
Gorgeous is an understatement!
All three versions are ones that I
would use in any of our bedrooms!
