Great in Bed for 20 Years: Happy Anniversary, Pine Cone Hill!

My, my, how time flies. Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Annie founded Pine Cone Hill and started making her first products with a sewing machine on her dining room table? A lot has changed since then—the company has moved twice, grown a bunch, and then grown even more, and now carries hundreds of pieces of bedding, sleepwear, table linens, accessories, and more. Still, one thing has stayed the same: Annie’s dedication to fun, functional home products that last. Of this milestone anniversary, she says, “I feel boundlessly grateful for the success of the company, as it has allowed me to create the thriving, creative, happy, and productive community that defines The Annie Selke Companies today. I have been so lucky to spend my life living my passion. It is an incredible gift.”

You can bet we’ll be celebrating Pine Cone Hill’s Great in Bed for 20 Years anniversary all year long, and we’re thrilled to have you along for the ride. To kick off this big-deal event, we want to share some hang-on-to-your-hats news: starting this month, we’ll be taking an up-close look at Pine Cone Hill’s spring collection, full of light, airy, tactile pieces that give a decidedly tropical spin to Annie’s wildly popular Cape Calm design world. (And who doesn’t want a little warming trend?) In late spring, Annie will also be releasing a “best of” legacy collection, featuring reissues and reinterpretations of best-selling Pine Cone Hill quilts, duvets, shams, pillows, and more from past collections.

You’ll also want to keep your eyes peeled for the new Bunny Williams for Pine Cone Hill collection, a line of worldly throws and decorative pillows designed by interior-decorating icon Bunny Williams. Inspired by Bunny’s extensive travels, this collaboration features Bunny’s favorite patterns, colors, and textures, all in the top-quality fabrics you’ve come to expect from Pine Cone Hill. (There’s even more news on the Bunny front, courtesy of Dash & Albert Rug Company. Stay tuned for next week’s big announcement.)

And did we mention all the exclusive decorating tips, inspirations, special features, and giveaways of incredible products? You won’t want to miss a single bit, so stay tuned here—or, even better, subscribe to our e-mail to have Fresh American delivered straight to your in-box every day. There would ne nothing more thrilling than to win bedding from Pine Cone Hill! We inherited a flooded lakehouse last year after my mom passed away. I have been looking after my Dad (93) since then . We have gutted the place this year and came to your business to try and find direction and inspiration! We will have 8 grandchildren and their parents visiting us often afterwards and I absolutely LOVE your work! Happy New Year…

Judy January 3, 2014 at 12:23 am
