Annie loves a good game, especially this one. “The first time I ever played was in front of a Lululemon store. The next thing I know, I’m flipping through the channels and there’s the Corn Hole Championships on ESPN,” she remembers.
It didn’t take long before she was hooked. Last summer, the Annie Selke Companies had a highly competitive tournament at our company picnic. And right now, Annie is playing regularly at home.
Pro tip: “If you have dogs, you’ll need extra bags because the dogs steal them,” she advises. Here’s why cornhole is the right game for right now.

01. It’s a great ice-breaker – and tension tamer. “It’s a silly game, but it takes some skill. And you can get as competitive as you want,” says Annie.
02. It goes great with a glass of wine. “It’s nice to have an activity during cocktail hour that kids can play, too.”
03. As far as family activities go, let’s be honest: It’s an introvert’s dream. There’s no real talking required.
04. Two can play, but so can 6. In this way, Cornhole is like shooting hoops – accommodating a flexible number of players.
05. It’s a 3-season game in most places and a year-round game in others. So if you’re feeling a little stir crazy, this might be the ticket.

Please tell us what games you’re playing at home right now, and share your Cornhole photos with us on Instagram @annieselke!

Love your cornhole boards! Were they custom, or would you mind sharing where I can find them?
Hello Sheila! Thanks for asking. We made them ourselves!
