Home Decorating Initial It

Initial It

The practice of monogramming items might be a preppy signature (get it?), but it goes way back to ancient Greece. In its earliest forms, it was usually reserved for royalty, but it quickly became a way to personalize valuable pieces. We’re never happier than when we can stamp, embroider, or emboss our initials on something, so we’re delighted to report that these days, almost anything is monogrammable.

As the fabulous Marisa at Stylebeat recently noted in this post, Merrimade will print your initials on everything from cups and napkins to luggage tags and coasters. But why stop there? Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite places to indulge your monogram mania.
