Great in Bed for 20 Years Guest Stylist: Anne Sage of The City Sage

The Pine Cone Hill 20th anniversary is heating up—literally; thank you, sunlight!—with tons of great new products and decorating ideas, and we’re thrilled to have a fantastic group of guest stylists on hand to do some bedroom beautification. (If you missed last month’s guest stylist, check her out here.) This month, Anne Sage from The City Sage—land of all that’s fresh, laid-back, and casually cool—has put together her favorite Pine Cone Hill bedding to create this antique-inspired look, featuring an unexpected mix of indigo, white, and coral.

Anne says, “I’ve always wanted to travel to France in the springtime, and sleeping under linens that evoke that experience seems like the next best thing! The striped duvet cover and shams have a vintage Continental sensibility, while the exotic indigo touches add a layer of global appeal.” She’s also loving the Old World feel of the French Knot decorative pillow mixed with light, breezy linen. And as for that creative pop of coral? “This season I’m gravitating toward raw linen textures in faded colors that look as though they’ve been drying in the sun for generations,” she explains. Sigh. Couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Here’s how to get Anne’s bedding look:

I need lots of darker bedcovers because the dogs sleep on the bed. These seem perfect!

I have a variety of blue shades I’m using in our lakehouse. The tie-dye throw would work nicely in the living room.

I first saw Pine Cone Hill products at a Bardstown, Ky store and bought a couple items. Love the quality. Made me feel special at bedtime.

Crisp white sheets with a hint of coral and a dark blue comforter update antique so it is fresh and vibrant! The throw, and coral keep the room from being too dark with the navy. A winning combination.

I love this throw. I have two white sofas across from one another and I’d love one for each to put over the seat cushions for all the traffic I’m going to have this summer! Love! Cool & traditional at the same time, just terrific combo!
