Garden planning is in full swing here in New England, and one “must” on le calendrier de jardin every year is Bunny Williams’s Trade Secrets. This annual two-day event, which will be held May 17 to 18 in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, is a haven for gardeners looking for all sorts of unusual plants, flowers, and topiary, plus an amazing selection of antiques and outdoor accessories.
This, the 14th season of Trade Secrets, promises to be bigger and better than ever—and will feature, among a variety of terrific products, Bunny’s indoor/outdoor rug collection for Dash & Albert. The event will kick off with a rare plant and garden-antiques sale on the first day, followed on the second by tours of inspiring area gardens. It’s also a great place to network with gardening aficionados, not to mention dozens of experts who have the know-how to answer all of our burning questions. The best part: proceeds from Trade Secrets benefit Women’s Support Services, an organization that seeks to put an end to domestic violence and abuse through intervention, prevention, and education.
