Annie’s Featured in New England Home!

We were positively giddy when the January/February issue of New England Home came across our desks, not only because it always features the perfect mix urban chic (get a load of the sleek industrial condo on page 106!) and country cool (is there anything more casually elegant than the plaid Ralph Lauren chair on page 26?), but because there’s a terrific profile in it of—drumroll, please—Annie and her companies, Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert Rug Company.

The feature chronicles Annie’s beginnings as a student of textile technology at the University of Vermont and a merchandiser for Conran and Lord & Taylor, through the humble beginnings of Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert. It covers the companies’ evolution, from their original preppy New England aesthetic to today’s worldly approach, which gives a nod to a variety of cultures and styles. “Design is my life. It’s my form of expression, my way of communicating with the world,” Annie tells writer Dan Shaw.

If you’re as inspired as we are by all things design, pick up a copy of New England Home. Then tell us in the comments which features or designs you like best!
