When You’re Good to Mama, Part 3

If you’re still searching for that perfect Mother’s Day breakfast-in-bed combo to surprise Mom with, we’ve got just what you need. First check out parts 1 and 2 of our series. Then take a deep breath and feast your eyes on this pattern-happy beauty.

For this combo, we actually started with the flower—hellebore, a perennial blooming evergreen. We buy ours from the incredible White Flower Farm, but you should be able to find them at your local nursery. Then arrange a few cuttings in a ceramic bowl, as you see here, or give Mom the potted version for planting later on. The palette of green, pink, purple, and white was an easy pairing with this Indian-inspired bedding. We also picked up the plum tone from the duvet in this easy lounge tank and wide-leg pant.

We stocked our breakfast tray with springy floral napkins in shades of green. Then we took another tip from the moms here at Fresh American HQ, and put together a breakfast of ham and Gruyère crepes with fresh fruit and coffee.

I loved those cheerful tulips, but the combo above is sweet and refreshing. All in all, I always go for an English country home feel, so I guess today’s is my favorite.
Thanks for providing such lovely eye candy each day on your blog.

Plus, I have a feeling the “Spring Vert” pattern would be gorgeous with my Pine Cone Hill straight edge quilted placemats in Key Lime.
