Maybe it’s the long, loooong winter, or maybe it’s that fleeting taste of tropical paradise we got when we shot the new Bunny Williams for Dash & Albert collection in Punta Cana. Whatever the case, we’re craving color, and one of our favorites for spring—and beyond—is coral.
Lucky for us, coral happens to be one of the easiest colors to decorate with. As Annie points out, coral is a universally flattering color that works on all skin tones, bringing a youthful rosiness to the cheeks, so decking out your favorite rooms in this cheery hue will make you—and your guests—look their best. It’s also a great “friend” to most colors, helping to pop subtle shades like olive, charcoal, or chambray, or creating a bright delight when paired with other bold hues like tangerine, turquoise, or lime. Perky, feminine, and fun, coral is a bit more chic and refined than pink, and we love it on bedding, decorative pillows, sleepwear, table linens, rugs, and . . . pretty much every type of décor or accessory you can think of.
