What perfect timing. We just purchased a home where one bedroom has a Murphy bed. It’s on the longest wall of the guest bedroom. It absolutely consumes the room. Should it stay (and find some way to neutralize the massive wall of white cabinetry) or should it go? For now, we just shut the door and pretend it’s not there. I would certainly appreciate your advice. (BTW, not sure how to post a photo; please advise). Thank you

My sister and I are redecorating her bedroom. What is the first thing we should do/buy so that the rest of the room will come together. She has picked a style, very elegant shabby/farm style. No frou-frou. But we’re just not sure where to put color, or not!

I love color–is there such a thing is “too much color”? How does one make the best choice with respect to choosing a color scheme.

My daughter has just bought a ground floor walk out condo. The living room/ dining and kitchen are in the same space. She is confused about which colors to use on the walls. She did buy the brown cat’s paw rug to start her decorating with. Since it came furnished she has a brown sofa, brown dining table and chairs . And a very large tv hanging in the middle. Thanks for helping her with color choices ……
